Developed in close cooperation with a major steel guitar manufacturer (GFI) and now shipping standard on most of their models, the Steeltronics PH Series is a two row pole humbucker design giving silent operation while creating a tone very similar to a single coil pickup.
A special grade of alnico is used for the pole magnets to create smooth highs, and the coil winds are relatively light to create a clear response in the bass register. Each of the two coils is wax potted to prevent microphonics.

Steeltronics utilizes on demand 3D printing for key components, therefore normal production time is 4 weeks for most orders.
